Very expensive, $60 for two people for a hay ride, (half of it through a parking lot), 4 pumpkins (hard to find one that wasn't rotten), and a corn maze, (okay, nothing special). There were long lines for everything, hard to find the various activities, felt like we were wandering around aimlessly after paying, no idea how to find things easily (just not well laid out it felt like), lots of walking, only one hand washing station for animal barn. There was a very specific list of activities and what was included for each price at the location, but would have been nice to see that online as it would have felt more up front so I wasn't bombarded with Disneyland lines and prices for an overcrowded, over rated pumpkin patch. It was our first visit. Will go somewhere else next year. Wish it had been more worth it! My expectations had been much higher for this place after reading the great reviews of others. There were a lot of activities if you wanted to wait 30-45 min for each activity in line. Better looking pumpkins at the grocery store for half the price.
It was overpriced with absurd lines. I took my wife, daughter, and son. We met up with a friend and his kid. We got the ultimate bracelet for the kids (20 bucks each) but didn't end up using them because it was over an hour wait to play laser tag (said the attendant) and who knows how long to shoot an apple. The hay ride was a 50 minute wait for a ride through the parking lot. The corn maze wasn't very good. I felt bad about inviting my friend. I asked an attendant if we just came on a bad day, and they said they regularly do 10k people a day during the fall festival. Consider yourself warned!
It was a fantastic experience going to Bauman's today with my family. The food is amazing with all the fresh apples and products made from them. The apple cider donuts are delicious. The slides, bounce areas, hay ride and bug train were all well kept and my daughter loved them, as did the adults. The people working there are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. This is our second year going and I intend to go every year forward.
I used to love coming here. Me and my son would come a couple times a month to play on the playground and see the animals and plants. His favourite was getting donuts. But when we went this week they told us it was going to be almost $10 to do the exact same things we do every other day we go because of the harvest festival. I completely understand for the weekend when they have fully staffed it and all the extra activities but during the week they just don't have that. It's just like any other day but now we have to pay. So disappointed. We went to EZ orchard down 99 and got donuts cheaper and played on their playground for free.
Bauman's Farm is so much more than a pile of pumpkins. When you visit the farm you will encounter fantastic food, fun and educational activities for the entire family, pumpkins galore, and an overall pleasant and inviting environment. Be sure to grab some amazing pumpkin pie and cider donuts, washed down with some rich and tasty apple cider!
